You Want It?
That has been my mantra all day ... how badly do I want it? It helped me in neat ways ... and I'm ready to go to bed, with a good feeling. I spent more on groceries today than I ever have in one sitting before, and it was all good stuff. There were personal things in there that didn't have to do with food, but all the food was healthy stuff. Now, if I can only not go to the grocery story for a while, that would be great!
On the flip side, a reflective day - it still seems like yesterday that I was in a classroom. And man, do I miss it this year! As far as I've gotten beyond teaching, I still have moments when I ache for it again. Once a teacher, always a teacher. It's not a job, it's a calling. It's a purpose.
Habits:
- Clean Sink: yes
- Cups of Water: 4
- Hours of sleep: did not record.
- Meds: yes
- FoodRecord: no
FitBit Notes:
- 2758 steps ... and I felt I was walking most of the day!
Goal Advancement for today:
H: I planned my meals for the week and have a back-up plan. I bought to the plan (and a bit more, but all healthy!) and intend to begin that journey tomorrow. So much easier when I'm at work and HAVE food!
E: I got 2 of the 3 components out of my car. 1 more when the store is open and accepting drop-offs. Might not be until Sat. but things are arrange accordingly in my car and I can do another trip (sorta) as soon as possible! It's not only about cleaning out the storage but also about cleaning out my car!

Gratitude:
1. I'm grateful tonight that the medication that I got (and I got all I need), was under $100. Yes, that is with the coverage. ONE prescription was 15 packets, it was a generic brand, not the name brand. 15 packets cost $190 ... of that I paid $42. For some reason, each prescription was a different percentage ... oh well. At least the total was less than $100!!
2. Today, I'm grateful that I got everything done on my errand list.
3. Today, I'm grateful that Summer 2014 is over. It was really difficult and so off in every way, but there were moments of joy and it has come to an end. I'm grateful for that!
4. Today, I remember GK - she has moved to Penticton and I wish her all the joy. I will miss her terribly but I am so grateful today to have counted her a friend, for all the lunches when we worked downtown, for all the times we met after, she will always be a special friend.
5. Today, I also remember my years teaching. I miss them and am so grateful I had them. I miss my students most of all. I can't stay 'here' but a moment remembering and being grateful I think is ok.
