46 of 100 ... Today, I'm a Wheel

That's a statement my brother and nephew came up with ... to 'insult' someone without realizing they're being insulted, call them a wheel.  A wheel spins, but unless it has friction (or motivation), it goes no where.  It can make a lot of noise, it can sound like it's doing great things, but unless the rubber hits the road, the wheel is a bunch of air going in circles.  Today, I felt like a wheel.

Gratitude:
1.  Today, I'm grateful for getting a few things done around my place.  I'm not sure if it will be all cleaned before I go to Edmonton tomorrow, but some of it will be.  I don't know why I couldn't focus, but it was really tough for a bit. In the end, yes, some things got done.
2.  Today, I'm grateful for being able to recommend some good books to a friend who asked.  I don't read as much as I would like to, but it was nice to have something to suggest.
3.  Today, I'm grateful that I did come up with a solution to ease my anxiety, at least right now.  I know things can still change, but if they don't right away then at least a huge problem has been temporarily resolved.
4.  Today, I'm grateful that I don't throw things away - I have some nice clothes in a multitude of sizes.  Because I like what I buy, also check to see how easy it would be to adapt it to wear if/when I lose weight.  So, right now, I have more clothing items than I know what to do with!! and, at least a few of them fit.
5.  Today, I'm grateful that it's a 3-day weekend.  I should be staying home, but maybe a break is a good thing as well.  This year has been so difficult, one thing after another, without a break.  So, maybe this weekend can be like a little break.  Get away, come back refreshed, maybe then it will be easier to focus!
