What was is gone, what is to come can still be. If I do what I've always done, I'll get what I've always got. This needs to change. Here I challenge myself to that change and see what can yet become of this chapter of my life.

39 of 100 ... Failing to Plan ...
... you know the rest. Oh, how true those words are!
What a crystal clear day! the sky was blue without a cloud to be seen, the mountains were snow-covered and so close you could see every divot in the hill ... and there were tree branches, big and small, everywhere. No street was untouched.

Gratitude:
1/ Today, I'm grateful that I haven't had a night-mare date. I watched a TV show called something like "Online Dating of the Male" and I was quite disgusted. There was almost no substance to either of them! and next week doesn't hold much more hope. Almost makes me not want to date! I'll give them a break - they were both under 35 .... but there was a woman who was 50. She looked quite good for a 50 year old woman (better than me!) but oh man, what a horrible woman!
2/ Today, I'm grateful that I'm ok with being single - yes times I am lonely, but the phoniness and sex-focus of the online dating is something I need to find a way around because from what I saw on the show, it's rather daunting. The superficiality! yikes!
3/ Today, I'm grateful that I'm feeling better. Every day, I feel a little more 'normal'. I hope when I meet with my doctors they tell me that I can live a completely normal, healthy life.
4/ Today, I'm grateful that there's only one more day to the week! I better make my plan for this weekend so I can be productive! (and maybe one day hit 5000 steps?)
5/ Today, I'm grateful that all the snow that came on the first 3 days of this week is almost gone now. And, warm weather ahead!

Sad the damage that the snow storm caused. But you were rewarded with a incredible day I think! I miss that view!
