What was is gone, what is to come can still be. If I do what I've always done, I'll get what I've always got. This needs to change. Here I challenge myself to that change and see what can yet become of this chapter of my life.

41 of 100 ... Operation Cobra!
A while ago, a friend lost her job. I decided I would help her prepare and apply for her next one, and in that process, I was hoping I would be motivated to do the same for myself. Today, both things came together, at the same time, for the same purpose ... so Operation Cobra has officially begun! For real!
Habits:
- Clean Sink: yes
- Cups of Water: 3
- Hours of sleep: 7ish (didn't log it)
- Meds: yes (almost forgot!)
- Reading: no
- FoodRecord: no
FitBit Notes:
- 5042 steps ... this is the FIRST time on a weekend that I got over 5000 steps!
Goal Advancement for today:
P: I found a job to apply for and began to create a resume to the job. I plan to finish it and send it tomorrow. It's a bit of a long shot, but definitely something I'd want to do in the future.
H: I bought myself some really good, really nice walking shoes! Asics - with a gel liner. I was going to get a running shoe, but they were a bit much, I thought, to be starting there. Let me wear these out first!
(E-Environment, H:Health, F:Financial, PD: Prof/Personal Development, R: Relationships.)
Gratitude:
1. Today, I'm grateful for an income - I probably spent too much money today, but everything I bought, I'll use. From clothing for interview and work, to the most unique MAC palette I've ever seen, to good shoes for work and walking. I love wearing heels, but with my ankles as they are, I need something better than my Bobs suede flats, and these seem to fit both requirements - a bit of a heel at the same time, something comfortable and walkable!
2. Today, I'm grateful to have been able to to help my friend RA with her resume. I really enjoy helping people create a good resume for the job they want, finding creative ways to fill the gaps, helping them prepare for the process. And, by helping her, I was able to immediately apply it to creating my own new resume!
3. Today, I'm grateful to find out that there are a ton of jobs out there ...sadly, one of my friends from AMEC just took one and will be leaving. She gave me great advice and I intend to put it to use right away ... which means I need to really plan my time wisely - two fold focus: job and storage! What she told me was a bit scary for the future of all of us who are still working there! Things will be VERY different come the new year!
4. Today, I'm grateful for medication - for the anticoagulants that keep my blood thin so I don't die from a clot, to the diuretics that keep my ankles from swelling, to the antidepressants that keep my head out of the dark hole!
5. Today, I'm grateful for the excitement of opportunity. It felt good to imagine what my next job will be like! I have a job now, and when you have a job is the time to start looking for your next job! So, as the writing is on the wall of big changes ahead, it's time to be proactive and find another train to jump on before the one I'm on derails!
ADDED: Photos from the MAC Quad I got today ... It's called "That Trillion Dollar Look" - colours: Lisa's Spikes, Apple Squishee, 2 Dozen and One Greyhounds. and Chalkboard Dreams. And they look very different than what you see here in the photo (which is pretty true to their colours in the container!).
