69 of 100 ... Wasted Day or Recovery Day?

I guess the answer to the above question will depend on how the rest of the weekend turns out!  Simply, I slept most of the day.  I think I got out of my PJs once - to go pick up my supper (Chinese food from Lemon Garden ... YUM!!!).  Accomplishments?  I caught up watching all episodes of Blacklist and got my sheets washed and slept.

Gratitude:

1.  I'm grateful today to be able to sleep as I wanted.  Some days I just need to take that break and not worry.  The challenge will come in the last 2 days of the weekend!
2.  I'm grateful that I took the extra distance and got my Chinese dinner from Lemon Garden tonight ... it really was tasty! Also reminded me of when I'd go there for dinner at Summerstock.  There are good memories from my time there!
3.   I'm grateful that I still have 2 days left to the weekend!  Am excited to see what I can get done from my list over those two days!
4.  I'm grateful that, even though I chose not to go, that I was invited to Thanksgiving with RA and her family.  I'm not going to get upset or whiny about being alone on Thanksgiving, it's tough but not nearly as tough as Christmas.  I can get through this one if I keep busy and treat it just like every other long weekend and not start thinking of what this means.  I know I can change it and make it special for me, if I so desire.  (I have a thing - I won't invite myself to family gatherings with other families.  And I won't drop subtle hints anymore.  If this is how it is to be this year, I'll do something else! ... in my case, that "To-Do" list is my companion and my challenge!)
5.   I'm grateful I have a positive attitude this Thanksgiving! Can't say the same for past family events where I spent alone ... so God, it's you and me this Thanksgiving!  Starting tomorrow, let's make it count!
