What was is gone, what is to come can still be. If I do what I've always done, I'll get what I've always got. This needs to change. Here I challenge myself to that change and see what can yet become of this chapter of my life.

56 of 100 ... Lord, What a Day!
Mondays are crazy on the best of days; today it was insane. I could not have made it through today without one of my colleagues from work, NL. I am so grateful for her help today - it was one of those days when my delayed completion of a task due to last week's urgent tasks (from other's delayed tasks) combined with other's late submissions I needed for my weekly task combined with my regular tasks that are increased due to people on holidays and additional responsibilities given to me combined today with a sick colleague on the IOL side ... that's where NL came in and saved my sanity!
Gratitude Moments for Today
1. I'm so grateful today for NL and all the things she helped me with. I felt bad when she left around the same time I did; she probably could have left sooner if she didn't help me so much. I hope I can repay the favour in some way, some day.
2. I'm grateful today that did get done what was crucial for today. I create my lists of what need to be done, and it is frustrating when other's emergencies take precedence over my lists. Oh well, I guess I am learning things through that as well. Things like re-structuring for successful completion, like priorities, like staying calm in the face of increased stressed, things like that.
3. I'm grateful today for coming home to quiet, to being able to re-focus. Nothing from my list this weekend got done, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. There was so many wonderful things I experienced, but it also comes to the time to recoup. To get my car back the road. And tonight is such a night.
4. I'm grateful today that I had some good books to recommend a friend for her Book Club. I think I'd love to get involved in a book club - I wonder how one does that? I wonder how one finds a book club? After offering books, the hunger for reading certainly
grew. I'll definitely do some reading before bed tonight!
5. I'm grateful today to have been invited out to dinner with a couple of the women from work. It came as a complete surprise! I barely thought about it before accepting and saying yes. I need to say 'yes' to more opportunities when they present themselves ... and see out more opportunities to say yes to.
