What was is gone, what is to come can still be. If I do what I've always done, I'll get what I've always got. This needs to change. Here I challenge myself to that change and see what can yet become of this chapter of my life.

54 of 100 ... Perfect Unfolding as I Need
I just realized ... what is happening this weekend is happening at the perfect time I need it to happen. Kind of 1/2 way through this experiment, it's like the shot of adrenaline that I needed, the kick-in-the-pants, the surge of energy and enthusiasm that I didn't realize but I oh-so-needed to send me on a path to see results in the next 45 days to the end of this. I did talk about my experiment a little with my visiting friend, but I sensed an apathy in him so I didn't share it all. And I felt perfectly ok with that! Little does he know how much of an inspiration he will be for this last 1/2 of my own journey!
Moments of Gratitude for Saturday
1. I'm grateful that we stopped for breakfast - I didn't have much in my place for a visiting-guest breakfast and so Timmy's provided something good and quick!
2. I'm grateful for a fantastic day of backroads Alberta adventuring! Drumheller, Tyrell Museum, 3 canyon visits and a ferry ride! There is a smell we smelled that was amazing ... if heaven had a smell, that would be it! The weather was magnificent and conversation was easy! (For the record, my visitor is gay so it was like two old friends re-connecting.)
3. I'm grateful that the gas in my tank lasted to Carstairs! It went on when we were rather in the middle of no where, and we didn't have to add "walking for gas" to our adventures!
4. I'm grateful for being able to somewhat follow the movie we saw (X-Men: Days of Future Past). It was a fantastic movie, but the challenge was because I had not seen all the other X-men movies. Now, I want to! ... even though it seems that this one negated all the rest!!!
5. I'm grateful that my house-guest had a good night sleep both nights! I always worry for some reason and it usually is wasted worrying. I didn't get up either night for a bathroom visit (even though I would have if he wasn't here). All good!
