Ok ... time to launch 2.0 ... the groundwork is done, I know exactly what I want to do over the next 100 days, I know exactly what I want to achieve in 100 days.
The intention of this next chapter is to build on the foundation that I have established - to continue the inner change and development at the same time as starting to work on an external of change as well. This, as I elaborated on in the previous entry, will begin with a focus on the development of new habits that support success and then planning and executing specifics towards my 5 100-Day Goals (Health-H, Finances-F, Relationships-R, Personal Development-PD, and Environment-E). I have a binder in which all is written out ... here, there is only room for a brief re-cap on what was worked on that day, as I am accountable here for each day.
So, here's how the first day went:
Habits (plus 1 new one):
- Clean Sink: yes (and there was a lot!)
- Cups of Water: 4 cups
- Hours of sleep: approx 9h
- Meds: yes
- Reading: yes (decided to read Awaken the Giant Within by A. Robbins for the first. I should get 3-4 books read over the 100 days if I can keep up with chapter a day!)
Goal Advancement for today:
E: Loaded car with 1 load from storage.
P: Planned meals; made borscht soup for week. Don't need to go out to eat this week!
(E-Environment, P:Physical, F:Financial, PA: Prof/Personal Development, R: Relationships.)
Gratitude
1/ Today, I'm grateful that RA nominated me to to post 3 things I'm grateful for on my FB. I've enjoyed reading other people's moments and am a bit daunted to do it myself! Somehow, it's different than here - a larger audience? maybe concern of being judged in some way? Whatever, I'm glad I'm doing it! Thank you, RA!
2/ Today, I'm grateful for a day off work ... a STAT holiday! I finished all the paperwork for my goals last night and today, I got to start it! I woke excited!!
3/ Today, I'm grateful for getting my car loaded before the rain came ... I wanted to do more, but at least I got one done! Tomorrow will deal with it and unload it.
4/ Today, I grateful for all the good memories I have of my parents and Aunt Lydia. Some memories fade over time, both good and bad ones, and - with the passing of a college friend's mother today, I pause and remember the good things about my parents. Time is so short! And as you age, it seems to go faster.
5/ Today, I'm grateful for food processors - I decided to make soup for the week today and with the processor, it made the preparation a breeze. And it turned out pretty dang good!
