Today I would say was the first snowfall of the season. Technically, still fall, but it's time, and the temperatures are going to drop in the next few days. Right now, it's hovering around -0 to -7, and though it's not windy nor really cold, it is good to be off the streets and I'm very glad I'm taking transit tomorrow! I admit, I do want to listen to "Christmas" music but I won't do so until the First Sunday in Advent. I compromise by listening to Winter Solstice music .... it has a winter feel to it and sometimes the music is familiar.
The question right now, as the snow comes down, the thoughts turn to Christmas - and Remembrance Day is on the 11th, do you start pushing Christmas before? put your decorations up now? or wait until after the 11th? As for me - I will always wait until the first Sunday in Advent to do any Christmas decorating or music. in other words, my Christmas will always start with my Concordia College Christmas Concert, even though I am not there. That is my tradition. What is yours?

Gratitude: Today, I'm grateful for ...
1 that it was not windy or cold! that it was just a beautiful first snow day!
2. ordering the book that I'm hoping will form the basis of my next 100 days (which will start January 1) and getting it in good time to check it out.
3. getting together with VG ... I really hope she can find a way out of her situation. I know what i would do, but that's me. And, i guess I'm grateful that I'm not in that situation!
4. finding a way to listen to music on my computer.
