89 of 100 ... Brink of Change

There comes a point in most lives when change is not only desire but required.  When, stepping into the unknown, taking a chance outside of the comfort zone is necessary to survival.  Yes, my body would go on until the heart stopped beating, but something inside is dying.  I've seen it growing in fits and spurts over a while, and now, with a new job pending, I know that will stave that off for a while.  I so long to reconnect with that explosion for life!  Sometimes I've received glimmers of it, so I know it's still there.

So, in these last days of employment on this project, I begin my prayer for change, for re-birth, for a new life.  Like I started this - if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.  What better new thing to shake things up than a new job?

Gratitude: Today, I'm grateful for ...
1. endings and beginnings, for not being afraid of stepping into the unknown and embracing the new.
2. that I could spend some time with the buyers ... so nice to be asked!
3. long weekends with DDOs!  It might be the last for a bit, since the new project is going down to 1 DDO a month.  One is than none!
4. not giving up yet.  Sometimes I dance with that beast, but I have yet to give in!
5. getting to speak to RA when she got the news that she got the job.  I've scattered the last few days with this, and once more:  I'm thrilled for her!!! I know this is going to change her in wonderful ways she has yet to imagine!
